Stephanie Hakin is a designer, researcher and outdoor enthusiast who trained in set and costume design on the Motley Theatre Design course under Margaret Harris. She has also completed art direction training under Terry Ackland Snow at Film Design International, Pinewood Studios. She has over 15 years design experience, which includes set and costume design, archival and historical research, design assisting and costume supervision. She is currently completing the dissertation for an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature and is looking for challenging projects. On her Rucksack Rose outdoor blog you can follow and support her outdoor and hiking activities. So far these include over 15 years exploring the north of England and Scotland on day walks, several long distance trails, (including the Pennine Way and Hadrian’s Wall), riding and some cycling.
